Another DigiScrap page

I can't believe that I've gotten two digital scrap pages done in the last week! This one is my DH holding our new nephew and soon-to-be godson, Sawyer. He was a little early and only weighed about 5 lb 10 oz in this picture. Cody did great holding him, considering he has considerably little experience with such little living things! Yep, I'm a proud aunt!

A new Digi-Scrap page

I haven't done digital scrapping in quite a while, but I managed to sneak a little time to put this one together. We were the Spartan Cheerleaders from SNL for Hallowee last year and these are our pics. We went to a fairly boring party, boring until we hijacked the Ipod and started dancing til we couldn't! No one else joined us, but we had a fun time anyway. Probably won't go back to that party next year!

Digi-Scrapping

I am finally catching up on some of my digital scrapbooking from the summer. These pictures were from the Wisconsin State Fair that we went to in August. This was my first time at the state fair and it was a treat. Cody's parents go every year with another couple, so I was introduced to the fair in style by folks who know what they are doing. The food was fantastic, as was the beer! We also saw the Kids from Wisconsin, who did a great job, despite the rain. Of course, the highlights of the day were the cream puffs and the awesome robot that was just lumbering around the grounds.

Final digi-page for a while

This is the final page I have for a while, I think. This is from our trip to the Maker's Mark Bourbon Distillery in Kentucky. It was a very cool place and Cody even got to dip his own bottle of bourbon. Also, the quote I put on the page was on a plaque that was in the shop and is from one of the family owners. I love it!

Louisville Slugger Museum Scrap Page

I'm trying to catch up on my scrapbooking, if you couldn't tell. This spread is from our trip to the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, a really cool place to visit if you're ever in Louisville, Kentucky. This spread was a little different for me as all of the elements were either pictures I took or pieces I pulled off of the website and altered for my page.

Tutorials for Digi-Scrapbookers

I was working on a page today and didn't know how to do a scalloped edge in Photoshop, so I googled it, of course, and I came across an awesome tutorial site for digital scrapbooking. I'm sure many of you know about it, but this post is as much for my future reference as it is for everyone else.

New Digi-Scrap Page

Yeah, I know I've been MIA lately, but it's a busy time finishing up one job and starting a new one. Exciting though. I promise I'll have some new cards up starting next week. My DH is out of town this weekend, which means I get some major time in my craft room!

I did manage to finish up a digital scrap page. We went to a Microbrew and Wine Tasting event in Sheboygan, WI, back in March. It was a spectacular time and we are already looking forward to a return trip next year.

I have to say, I think I'm getting a little better at digital scrapbooking, although not quite to where I'd like to be.

At the eleventh hour, we got a White Christmas, so on Christmas Eve, Cody and I went for a beautiful walk with my in-laws, which is where I took this picture. I will admit that this is probably one of the best pictures I've taken with my new camera.

They were walking ahead of us a bit, and with a little cadjoling, they held hands and probably against their desires and beliefs of what makes a good picture, continued to walk away from the camera. I LOVE the effect!

I used a combination of a couple of different free digi-scrap kits that I have downloaded. I don't remember off the top of my head where I find kits to download, but I'll have to try to list them someday. I think this turned out really nice. It's definitely my best so far, for which I'm proud. Much like my stamping, with time and continued attempts, I am getting better.

Newest Digi-Scrap Page

Yet another attempt at digital scrapbooking. I still don't feel overly confident in this, but as with any of the paper arts, I'm sure I will get better with time and practice.

More Digital Scrapbooking

Here is my second attempt at digital scrapbooking. I have to admit, I think I like scrapbooking better this way than traditional. I love making cards with paper and ink, but I really like using the computer for my scrapbooking.

I admit, I'm not very good yet, so any of you digital scrapbookers out there, my ears are open for suggestions. This is also the first time I've journaled on a scrap page, but the space just begged for some journaling.

This is a 2-page spread, each page being 8.5"x11". Even with digital, I'm too intimidated by the 12"x12" page. Maybe eventually.
