Simple Anniversary

I wasn't sure if I liked this card when I first made it, but it has grown on me. It's very simple and clean, but cheery. The colors are Green Galore, Bashful Blue and WW. The only stamping involved is the sentiment. I used my cuttlebug for the background, and the rest is pretty self explanitory. Thanks for looking!

Bright Silhouette

Another of the silhouette stamps. I really like using that stamp with silk flowers. And this color combo is so cheery I just love it - Summer Sun, Basic Black and Whisper White. I also used the print pattern stamp on the card base, color on color. Very simple, but I like it.

Plum Paisley

I used another of my new Cuttlebug folders for the BG here - Paisley. The colors of this card are Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Naturals white. I used silver eyelets on the corners, and used Heartfelt Thanks & Polka Dots & Paisley stamp sets. I finished the card with a little paper piercing in the corners of the main image and connected the dots with my white gel pen.

Silhouettes

I saw this set of clear stamps that are all silhouettes and I really like them. This one is accented with a red silk flower with a pearl brad in it's center. I used the French Script BG stamp on the card base, ruby red on ruby red. The main image is layered on Always Artichoke and then on a layer of mulberry. A very simple card that can have almost any greeting stamped on the inside.

Finally, a little stamping!

I actually had some time to sit down and stamp this past weekend, and it was GREAT! I don't remember the last time that I just sat and played and made several cards and it wasn't because they needed to be in the mail yesterday. This is just one of several that I made this weekend.

The colors are Green Galore, Chocolate Chip and Naturals white. I used one of my new Cuttlebug folders for the texture along with some chocolate mini-eyelets. The flower is from SU's Sassy Stems and the butterfly (SU-Time Well Spent) was heat embossed with black, watercolored, trimmed and raised on dimensionals. Overall pretty simple, but I really like how it turned out.

Another DigiScrap page

I can't believe that I've gotten two digital scrap pages done in the last week! This one is my DH holding our new nephew and soon-to-be godson, Sawyer. He was a little early and only weighed about 5 lb 10 oz in this picture. Cody did great holding him, considering he has considerably little experience with such little living things! Yep, I'm a proud aunt!
